"Hi Freddo!
Yesterday I went to a civil war re-enactment in San Jose. The cannons were very loud. We got to see a baby cannon. It
was made out of bronze. Two of the battles of Gettysburg were re-enacted. In the second battle we sat up front next to one of the big cannons. There were Confederate Marines there. I liked that because my Dad was a U.S. Marine. We also got to
ride the old style trolley. Bye! Alex."

Do you have FROG AND TOAD books in Australia? We read the letters on your bulletin board from other children. We want to know how we can taste FREDDO. Is it candy? Your friends in the United States,
Mrs. Birch's 2nd graders"
