As he went on his way, he passed Bindi Beach, the local swimming spot, for those that didn’t have their own pond, of course. Daisy Dolphin was keeping an eye on the other swimmers. “Hi, Freddo”, said Daisy. (Click the picture of Daisy Dolphin) “Hi Daisy” said Freddo, “how’s the water?” “Lovely thanks Freddo, I’m just making sure the other animals swim between the flags” expained Daisy, “some of them are not as strong at swimming as I.” “Good Job, Daisy.” Freddo smiled. Freddo rode in the gates of the zoo and got off his bike. “You better lock up your bike and take your helmet with you!” roared grumpy old Mr Lion. They had been friends for a long time, and Freddo had a favour to ask. As Freddo arrived, Eddie trumpeted his arrival. (Click the picture of Eddie Elephant) “Long live Freddo, king of the frogs” Eddie laughed. The two pals went inside and planned their afternoon. __________ After lunch, the boys went down to the school yard. It was a bit strange, considering it was the weekend, but the annual school fete was on. There were people everywhere, playing games and there was a brass band. Freddo walked up to his teacher, Mr Donald Donkey and smiled. “I have brought you something for the White Elephant Stall,” laughed Freddo. With that Eddie jumped out of the bushes. He was covered with flour and ghostly white. “Boo!” Eddie exclaimed. Mr Donkey was so astonished that he and the children could not stop laughing, “Ey OR!” (Click the picture of Donald Donkey) THE END |
